Details of a planned large-scaled shopping mall in Hachioji City, Tokyo was revealed. Construction of three structures with total floor area of 183,000m2 will be undertaken in early 2015 and completion is due in spring 2016.
The mall will be built in a 94,000m2 plot out of the total 154,000m2 readjusted land located north of Hachioji Interchange of Chuo Expressway. The five-story largest structure will have shops, movie theaters and amusement facilities. The land readjustment project is underway by Kajima Corp., and it is slated for completion in February 2015.
