Mitsui Fudosan Breaks Ground at Former Amusement Park in Osaka to Build 223,000m2 Entertainment Complex

Mitsui Fudosan started construction work on July 17 of a multi-purpose complex at the former site of an amusement park in Suita City, Osaka. The structures with total floor area of 223,000m2 will have entertainment facilities such as an aquarium, movie theaters and the nation’s largest wheel. Design and construction has been commissioned to a joint venture of Takenaka Corp. and Takenaka Civil Engineering & Construction Co. Completion is projected in fall 2015. (2014/07/18)
