Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will send a group of small and medium sized construction companies to Vietnam in mid-November as part of the ministry’s policies to support private businesses expanding overseas. The group will visit construction sites of Japanese contractors, have opportunities to meet the government officials, and socialize with local industry groups and businesses. The ministry intends to make this a model showcasing a successful example. During the five-day trip, the group will also attend Japan-Vietnam Construction Meeting that the two government sponsor.
