Takenaka Corp. announced that it developed a new engineering method jointly with Tokyu Land Corp. to install a running track linking rooftops of multiple structures. The buildings as a whole support the tracks and isolators installed at the junction of the tracks and the roof prevent vibration. A 300 meter track will be developed at an under-construction shopping mall in Osaka for the first time. The first “Air Track” in Osaka is designed and constructed by Takenaka Corp. Runners will be able to experience aerial exercise in spring 2015. (2014/10/10)
