Japanese Land Ministry To Exhibit at World’s Largest Real Estate Show in Cannes, France

Japanese land ministry will exhibit at one of the largest property trade shows in the world, MIPIM from March 10 to 13 in Cannes, France, jointly with local municipalities and the private sector such as real estate developers and design firms. The ministry will introduce urban developments and infrastructure projects in Tokyo planned to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Promoting foreign investment in Japan and overseas penetration of Japanese companies are to be aimed as well.

Participants include Tokyo Metropolitan City, Osaka City, JR East, Mitsubishi Estate, Mitsui Fudosan, Mori Building, Nihon Sekkei, Nikken Sekkei, etc.

A similar version of the trade show focusing Asia will also take place in Tokyo in May 20 and 21, where MLIT is to showcase urban developments in Japan to investors and property market players in Asia. Participating companies have been invited until April. (2015/03/03)
