49-story Three Super High Rises To Be Developed in Yokohama, 2000 Units on Market in 2022

Japan Freight Railway Co. and Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co. will build three super high rise apartment buildings in Yokohama City. The total 230,000m2 development will launch in 2022, followed by construction work starting in 2018.

The development will provide some 2000 unit apartments. The 49-story buildings each as high as 185 meter will be constructed in the plot of 27,000 m2. The whole project covers the total 12 ha area near Minato Mirai 21 area. Besides the residential area, several mixed use developments such as medical centers are planned. Mitsui Fudosan Group and Taisei Corp have been appointed as project partners. (2015/03/26)
