Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism held the first overseas business seminar of FY2013 on December 11 in Tokyo targeting managers of small and medium sized construction companies. Managers of companies which have business in foreign countries such as Vietnam and other South East Asian countries gave lectures to attendees, sharing their experiences in overseas construction markets. One of them explained important factors necessary for SMEs which hopes to expand their business outside Japan, noting that it is better to focus on Asian markets because of the geological advantage. Four more seminars are to be held nationwide by the end of February 2014. (2013/12/12)
