Japanese pavilion plan for Expo Milano 2015, scheduled from May 1 to October 31, 2015 in Milan, Italy, was revealed. Based on the theme “Harmonious Diversity,” the pavilion will present a message toward the sustainable coexisting community by using recyclable woods. The architecture expresses integration of traditional wisdom of wooden structure and modern cutting edge technologies.<br /> <br /> The area of 4170m2 is reserved for Japan out of total 110ha, which will make the largest space among 140 participating countries. The two story pavilion comprises the exhibition zone, the restaurant zone, and the event square, promoting Japanese cuisine and traditional cultures from all over the country. (2013/12/19)
