JICA and Vietnam signed 46.7 billion yen loan agreement for expressway and airport terminal construction

The Japan International Cooperation Agency agreed to loan Japanese yen Official Development Assistance(ODA) of up to 46.7 billion yen to the government of Vietnam for two projects, development of an expressway in Hanoi and an airport terminal building. The signing ceremony was held on December 24, 2013 in Vietnam.

A five kilometer section from Mai Dich to South Thang Long of Hanoi City Ring Road No. 3 Construction Project will be built as an elevated high-standard highway with a loan of 20.6 billion yen. It aims at completion in June 2018.

26 billion yen will be appropriated for Terminal 2 Construction Project in Noi Bai International Airport (III). A new terminal for international flights at the capital’s gateway is scheduled to complete in April 2015. (2013/12/27)
