Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. is taking the process of establishing its eighth overseas subsidiary in Malaysia, aiming at completion by the end of 2014. As a part of the corporate strategy under the circumstance of the shrinking domestic market, the company will set the base for business activities targetting emerging markets such as India and South East Asia.

Sumitomo Mitsui Construction achieved consolidated values of overseas orders of as high as 71.3 billion yen in the last fiscal period, expecting more than 70 billion yen in the current period. (2014/01/08)
