Toyo Construction Co., Ltd will launch its fifth overseas branch office in Myanmar, intending to win contracts of infrastructure developing including Official Development Assistance projects such as sea port development. The company targets at overseas orders received in the recent three years of the total value at 55 billion yen.

Toyo Construction has their business widely in South East Asian countries, having established Manila office in Philippines forty years ago ahead of other rival companies. It also has offices in Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia. President Shigeki Ohmori said that he intended to increase the overseas sales rate to 20%, hoping to receive orders of large-scaled ODA projects as well as private energy development projects.
