Japanese property giant Mitsui Fudosan will redevelop a former British Broadcasting Corporation Television Center site and an adjacent plot in London jointly with a local developer. The total floor space of new buildings is expected to reach 260,000m2, which makes the largest project in the capital of UK invested by Japanese businesses. The developer acquired the 69,000m2 land from the BBC this month and the construction is slated to begin by the end of the year. The new complex will have offices, apartments and a hotel. (2015/06/08)
