Nikken Sekkei Ltd. launched a branch office in Singapore, which will play a role of the strategic base covering all South East Asian countries. Networking with its existing offices in the region, the office as a hub aims to expand its business and improve the service in the ASEAN region and Hong Kong.

The real estate and urban development market is expected to grow in the region. Nikken Sekkei Group decided the location by considering factors such as business environment, accessibility, and concentration of investment. The office will focus on business including low carbon and smart city development, large-scaled complex buildings and support for Japanese companies hoping to expand overseas business. The company aims to increase the sales in the ASEAN region to 30% of all overseas sales. (2014/01/14)
