Sankyo Tateyama Inc., a Japanese construction material manufacturer, will launch a subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand, to enhance local production and sales in the entire ASESN region. Sankyo Tateyama Thailand, the fourth overseas location of the company will build a factory after the feasibility study.

President Kiyotsugu Yamashita said at the press conference on January 10 that Thailand is a suitable location, where infrastructure is well developed. Since the market of the region is in the upward trend, the company aims to raise the percentage of overseas sales to more than 10% by 2020, President Yamashita added. (2014/01/14)
