Japan Assists Private Sector in Urban Development of Vietnamese Port City of Hai Phong

Japanese Land Ministry will strengthen assistance to Japanese private sector looking for opportunities in urban development projects in Hai Phong, the northern port city of Vietnam. As transport infrastructure has improved, many large-scaled developments are being planned in the city. The ministry will study the local market and provide the information collected through the survey to Japanese developers and construction companies.

Hai Phong is one of the nation’s economic center with under-construction international deep sea port of Lach Huyen expecting completion in 2017. The ministry will study contents, the timeline and challenges of the planned projects in the highly potential city for development. (2015/08/27)
