Three Japanese companies, Daiwa House Industries, Nomura Estate and Sumitomo Forestry will develop total 2000-unit condominium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in partnership with a local developer, Phu My Hung Co. The first phase of construction which is slated to begin in early 2017 will construct five buildings with total floor area of 180,000m2. Design and construction has been commissioned to local contractors.
Phu My Hung area in District 7 of the nation’s economic center, one of the largest high-end residential areas will have the first development by Japanese firms, which is named provisionally as Midtown Project. The developers will build 1,100 apartments in the first phase with completion expected in the second half of 2019. The total investment is 27 billion yen. (2015/9/30)
