Commercial Complex to Be Built in Tokyo’s New Toyosu Wholesale Market

Tokyo Metropolitan Government chose a group of a sushi restaurant chain Kiyomura and Daiwa House Industry Co. to develop a 65,000 m2 commercial facility in the planned area of New Toyosu Wholesale Market. The completion is expected in 2016 and it will open at the same time with the market.


Tokyo will lease the 1.7 ha land for 30 years to the group, which will build four structures based on a theme “Food” The complex will have retail shops, a spa, and restaurants. The number of visitors annually is estimated at 4.2 million. (2014/2/20)
