Japanese construction company Taisei Corp. announced on April 6 that it developed low-cost high-fluidity concrete “T-Lcrete.” Added with powdered fluidizer and thickener, the new material shows high-fluidity at lower cost than the conventional high-fluidity concrete. The concrete is expected to be applied in part of heavily reinforced concrete and structures of complex geometry. High-fluidity is to be effective by only adding powder packaged by dissolvable paper to concrete, which can save on-site labor as well. (2018/04/9)
